RA-FA Referee Development Roadshows
The Referees Department has announced that four Referee Development Evenings will take place in September and October 2010 at various locations around the County. The format of the evenings will contain both training and social elements with guest speakers, workshops and food and refreshments provided. Match officials will be sent personal invitations in due course but places can be booked now by email to Linda.threlfall@lancashirefa.com
Thursday 23rd September 2010 – Lancashire FA Headquarters, Leyland - 7pm
Thursday 30th September 2010 – Kendal Football Club, Barrow, Cumbria – 7pm
Thursday 14th October 2010 – Accrington Masonic Hall, Accrington – 7pm
Thursday 21st October 2010 – Bury Football Club, Bury, - 7pm
Level 1 Referee Tutor Course – North-West
The Football Association are holding a Level 1 Referee Tutor Course at Culcheth Sports and Social Club on Sunday 24th, 31st October and Sunday 7th November 2010. The three day course leads to accreditation in Referee Tutoring and successful candidates will be eligible to deliver training to newly qualified referees. The Level 1 qualification can also be converted to a Level 2 at a later date, where tutors can train existing officials. The course fee is £50 but anyone wishing to attend should contact Dean Mohareb for an informal discussion.
