The FA Community Awards 2010

The FA and its Community Partner, McDonalds, are teaming up to launch a brand new football awards programme that will recognise grassroots clubs and volunteers across the country.

These awards will build on McDonalds continued commitment to improving standards at grassroots level to help those coaches play an even greater role in their communities through the FA Charter Standard Club programme.

Lancashire FA is calling on people from across the region for nominations for the seven award categories so that they can be recognised for their achievements.

The Award categories:

  • Outstanding Contribution to Community Football Award
  • The FA Charter Standard Club Award
  • The FA Charter Standard Development Club Award
  • The FA Charter Standard Community Club Award
  • Volunteer of the Year Award
  • Young Volunteer of the Year Award
  • Coach of the Year Award

To nominate your club or individual, please complete the appropriate nomination form (available to the right) and return to Lancashire FA by 12th April 2010.

A shortlist of candidates will be selected by a judging panel from The FA, McDonald’s and Sir Geoff Hurst.

The seven national award winners will be announced at The FA Community Awards which this year is being held at Wembley on the day of the FA Community Shield Final, August 2010.
