Season 2009-10 proved to be a success for the Association’s Under 18 side, winning a League & Cup ‘double’ in the Northern Counties Competition, as well as reaching the FA County Youth Cup Semi Final.
For Season 2010-11, the Association will be looking to continue this success and once again provide talented youth players from its Member Clubs with an opportunity to participate in representative football for their County.
We are looking for support from Clubs in nominating any players they feel have outstanding ability, a desire to learn & develop, and would be of the required standard to represent the County’s Youth team.
Nominations must be returned to the Association by Friday 23rd July 2010 on the form available to the right of the page.
Players must be under the age of 18 on 31st August 2010 and be ‘non-contract’ to be eligible to represent the County.
Should you have any players you wish to be considered, a series of trial matches will take place throughout late July & August, prior to the start of the 2010-11 season.
