Womens County League

Founded in 1996, The Lancashire FA Women’s County League has gone from strength to strength over recent seasons, and now provides grassroots football to over 20 teams split across 3 divisions

The Women’s County league also runs a champions league style cup competition throughout the season, starting with a locally matched group stage and progressing into two straight knockout competitions, The Trophy & The Plate. Both Finals are played at the County Ground.

The Women’s County League operates at Step 7 of the Women’s Football Pyramid, and feeds into the North West Women’s Regional League.
