Entries Open for 2017 Mini-Soccer Festival

Affiliated Charter Standard clubs encouraged to apply

UPDATE: TUESDAY 25TH APRIL

Spaces still available:

  • UNDER 9’s boys/mixed (4 spaces)

All other age groups are now FULL.

Entries are now being taken for Lancashire FA's annual Charter Standard Clubs Mini-Soccer Festival.

The festival will take place at the County Ground in Leyland on the weekend of 29th and 30th April 2017.

80 teams are set to enter with over 800 children in attendance over the course of the two days.

FA Charter Standard Clubs who are first affiliated to Lancashire FA are eligible to apply for the festival.

Entries cost £15 per team on a first come, first served basis.

The festival, now in its 15th year, is always a popular and successful event, and this year every child taking part will receive a gift from our sponsors Juice Burst.

The festival is organised to promote the good work of Lancashire clubs who have achieved FA Charter Standard status with the ethos of developing players through raising standards and good practise.

The festival will have age groups at U7, U8, U9, U10 and U10 girls with fixtures being played on a ‘friendly’ basis whereby no results will be collated.

This has proved to be a great success in the past with the ethos of fun and enjoyment for the players.

Iain Kay, Lancashire FA’s Senior Football Development Manager said: “We are very much looking forward to our 15th annual mini-soccer festival.

"We have 80 team places available over the course of the two days and, as in previous years, we anticipate that we will fill these places in a very short space of time, so I would urge our Charter Standard Clubs in Lancashire to act quickly and apply.”

As entries fill up very quickly, a waiting list will be in operation for any teams that drop out for whatever reason.

Please note entries are non-refundable.
