FSOA Sponsor U18 Girls Cup

The stadium safety specialists will initially sponsor the competition for the remainder of the 2018/19 season

Lancashire FA are delighted to announce a new sponsor for the inaugural season of the Lancashire FA U18 Girls County Youth Cup.

The Football Safety Officer’s Association (FSOA), who specialise in stadium safety throughout England and Wales, will sponsor the newly formed competition with immediate effect.

FSOA spokesperson John Newsham said “Football Safety never stands still, it evolves and the members of the FSOA are the forefront of helping clubs and organisations keep their customers safe.”

“The relationship between the FSOA and Lancashire Football Association sees not only the FSOA providing support for Lancashire FA in sponsoring the Girls U18 Cup Competition, but also support in empowering them to tap into the best practice in terms of football safety at their headquarters in Leyland and the vast resources and assistance available to Lancashire FA from fellow safety officers and stadium safety managers, not only in Lancashire but throughout the country.”

“This is the first mutual relationship of its kind in England & Wales with both parties keen to move forward and create a successful partnership.”

On FSOA’s sponsorship, Lancashire FA’s Head of Commercial & Operations, David Chell said: “It is fantastic news that a well-respected company in the Football Safety Officers Association have agreed to sponsor the U18 Girls County Youth Cup from it’s inaugural season and beyond.”
