COUNTY CUPS FOOTBALL ADVISORY BOARD - JOIN US AND SHAPE THE COUNTY CUPS COMPETITIONS IN LANCASHIRE

Our Football Advisory Boards (FABs) are the forums for the voices of Lancashire’s footballing community, feeding opinions, ideas and footballing needs directly into the Lancashire FA Board of Directors and Executive to influence football’s focus across the County.

We are currently recruiting for additional enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join the ‘County Cups’ Football Advisory Board.

A message from the Lancashire FA Lead – Hayley Mather

For those of you who do not already know me, I am the Football Services Manager at Lancashire FA, having served here over the past 16 years overseeing all the regulatory processes that our stakeholders go through each season and managing the disciplinary procedures.

Within Football Services we also run the 19 County Cup Competitions, each season. These range from under 12’s through to open age competitions and our Senior Cup, and all the Cup Finals are held at The County Ground as a prestigious event that celebrates the immense success of the finalists.

I am delighted to be the Executive Lead for our ‘County Cup’ Football Advisory Board, which brings together those from our footballing community who want to be directly involved with the Cup Competitions, ensuring excellence in how they are run, and looking at ways we can improve them, each year, to safeguard their future and create the best environment for them to prosper and grow.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking to recruit committed individuals with competition, tournament or e-sports experience across the semi-professional and grassroots game (youth, adult or pan-disability).

If you have experience of either management, chairing, organising or volunteering within a club, league or tournament structure, and have a desire to further develop our County Cups, then we want to hear from you, and draw on your expertise and experience so that, together, we can make a sustainable difference to football in Lancashire.

Check out the County Cups FAB Terms of Reference here.

Complete the application form by Sunday 20th February 2022.

Successful applicants will be invited to attend a brief, informal chat with the Executive Lead and FAB Chair during late February.

Lancashire FA is committed to equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion, and welcomes applications from our under-represented communities as we are keen for our FABs to be representative of Lancashire's diverse football society. Lancashire FA is a values-led organisation, and anyone joining us must share our values of creativity, inspiring, teamwork, caring and integrity.

Best of luck with your application – we are looking forward to hearing from you!
