Recreation Officer Vacancy at Lancashire FA

We are looking to appoint a Recreation Officer to work within the Participation & Development team at Lancashire FA.

As part of Lancashire Football Association’s drive and commitment to improve participation for our football family we are seeking a dedicated, highly motivated and inspiring team member to join the Participation & Development Team. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear passion to improve and support communities across Lancashire, working with both traditional leagues and clubs and also non-traditional community-based partners. 

Working within a busy, high performing team, excellent communication and organisation is essential, along with a strong understanding of football development at grassroots level and the role that sustainable development programmes play in the community.

Next Steps

This is a full time, permanent role, aligned to the FA’s National Game Strategy, working 35 hours a week, typically Monday to Friday but also with some evening & weekend commitments where applicable. Although based at Lancashire FA, there will be opportunities to work remotely and flexibly. The role has a salary of £26k, as well as extensive benefits and flexibility.
