Female Only FA Referee Course

Lancashire FA is working closely with a range of partners to help build a new generation of players, coaches, referees and fans in the women’s game.

As part of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 legacy programme, Lancashire FA is working closely with a range of partners to help build a new generation of players, coaches, referees and fans in the women’s game. We will be delivering a specific female referees course to recruit additional female referees across Lancashire, in partnership with Wigan Athletic Community Trust and UEFA.

Aligned with the local legacy plan and this specific targeted delivery, we will also be facilitating continued professional development (CPD) sessions to support the newly qualified female referees over the next two years.

referee course schedule
Refereeing is a huge priority within the game and through our legacy planning, we can now actively provide our county with an increased representation of female referees and hopefully guide them to reach the highest level of the game.

If you’re interested in becoming a referee and attending this specific course, APPLY NOW.

Deadline for application is 12pm on Friday 13th May 2022.
