Leigh Sports Village Stadium will be hosting four games during the tournament, including three group stage matches and a quarter-final.

The group games will feature teams from Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and Portugal, who have now been confirmed as replacements for Russia. Portugal originally lost to Russia in the qualifying playoffs for the tournament.

The Portuguese national side will be making only their second appearance at a EURO finals tournament having previously competed in EURO 2017 which took place in the Netherlands.

They were narrowly beaten by a strong England side during the group stages of that tournament, but did record a victory against Scotland, which they will look to build on this time round.
