Under 21 County League

Bridging the gap between youth and adult football

The first Lancashire FA Under 21 County League was successfully launched in 2016/17, and has been a huge success.

Stockport County are the most recent champions of the League, winning it in 2017/18 whilst Fulwood Academy lifted the Under 21's Cup during the same season, and we’re looking for new teams to join us for the 2018/19 campaign.

The league aims to bridge the gap between youth football and adult football, and provide like-minded teams with competitive fixtures in order to develop their younger players.

Some young players often find the leap to adult football daunting, and it can put many off from continuing in the game.

The league has increased in size this year and we're looking forward to seeing if Stockport County can successfully defend their title, or whether it's time for a new champion!
