Disability Football

Lancashire County FA works hard to develop disability football opportunities across the whole of Lancashire which includes 19 boroughs.

The FA England Talent Days

The FA England Talent Days are the entry point to the England Disability Football Pathway. The Talent Days are a key feature in The FA’s Talent Identification programme and provide The FA, County FA  and club staff a key opportunity to see young players with a disability/Impairment in action with a view of signposting them to the most appropriate opportunity . Opportunities may be within a grassroots club, a disability/impairment specific programme or provision within The FA’s Talent Pathway. The FA England Talent Days are the first step of becoming more involved within football. An England Talent Day will involve some fun football based sessions and games focused on getting players active with a ball and without a ball. Coaches and wider staff will be on hand to answer questions about getting more involved within the game.

This opportunity is for students between the ages 10-16 years old with one of the following impairments

•   Cerebral Palsy

•   Partially Sighted

•   Deaf Male

•   Deaf Female

•   Amputees

•   Blind
