The draw for the Lancashire Football Association Canterbury Senior Cup was made live on BBC Radio Lancashire on Friday 14th September.

The draw for the LFA Senior Cup can be seen below:

 

Round 1 - Ties to be completed by 31st October 2007.

Game 1    Blackpool v Accrington Stanley

Game 2    Blackburn Rovers v Morecambe

Game 3    Bolton Wanderers v Rochdale

Game 4    Wigan Athletic v Bury

Byes: Liverpool, Manchester United, Oldham Athletic, Preston North End.

 

Round 2 - Ties to be completed by 31st January 2008.

Game 5    Preston North End v Blackpool or Accrington Stanley

Game 6    Manchester United v Oldham Athletic

Game 7    Liverpoool v Wigan Athletic or Bury

Game 8    Blackburn Rovers or Morecambe v Bolton Wanderers or Rochdale

 

Semi-Final - Ties to be completed by 31st March 2008.

Canterbury of New Zealand is the new sponsor of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.

Canterbury of New Zealand

Canterbury Is a New Zealand-based sports apparel company that focuses on Rugby and makes kits for International Rugby Union teams including Australia and South Africa.

The company is named after the Canterbury area where the company started to make knitwear. Other than producing rugby kits, the brand is also known for their rugby protective wear such as headgear and pads, Canterbury also sells rugby boots.

The head office was formerly based in the city of Christchurch in Canterbury in the South Island of New Zealand, but has now moved to Auckland. There are operations in Brisbane, Australia; Cape Town, South Africa; California and Manchester, England.

Canterbury currently make the team wear for FA Barclays Premier League team Portsmouth and La Liga team Deportivo La Coruña. Canterbury also provide the headgear for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, since he recovered from a head injury.
