Clubs Affiliation 2023-24

Affiliation with Lancashire FA ensures that all clubs and their teams have the correct level of insurance and provides access to affiliated leagues with qualified match officials. In the event of a disciplinary or safeguarding incident, affiliated clubs have the support of Lancashire FA to raise their concerns and receive the necessary support and advice.

Affiliation process for 2023-24

Team affiliation will now be completed via the Club Portal. We will support you with this new process with a series of ‘how to’ digital guides.

Lancashire FA has not previously charged a unit fee for team affiliation. However, for the 2023/24 season the club fee will no longer be an option, as the FA moves onto Platform for Football with a new charging model per team, in line with national FA changes. 

The Lancashire FA affiliation fee structure from 2023-24 season onwards will be calculated per team, as opposed to the previous model used each season by Lancashire FA which was per club. Prices per team are outlined below:

New Safeguarding requirements for seasons 2023-24 

Clubs are being asked to complete the mandatory actions to ensure they meet the requirements for affiliation for the 2023/24 season. The requirements for roles at clubs are outlined in the attached webpage. Simply scroll to the type of team you work in and the requirements will be outlined.
