As part of Lancashire Football Association’s drive and commitment to provide more opportunities within female football, we are seeking two dedicated, highly motivated and inspiring Ambassadors to be advocates for the female game in Lancashire.
Our Ambassadors will have an understanding of the challenges and barriers that both players and volunteers can face and will be responsible for supporting grassroots football clubs to apply their learnings from the Equal Game Training and build their own Equal Game Action Plan; creating more accessible opportunities for women and girls.
These roles are offered on a casual worker contract for 50 hours over the course of the 2023/24 season, with potential for the roles to continue into the 2024/25 season, subject to securing additional funding. These roles are paid at an hourly rate of £25, inclusive of all travel costs. There are no fixed hours for these roles, and they will involve evening and weekend commitments. Although the role is based at Lancashire FA, the successful candidates will be visiting clubs regularly and will have a strong presence in our communities. Important:
As part of this role, transportation is needed as this role requires travel within the Lancashire FA boundary.
