Continued learning opportunities

Lancashire FA will be hosting a CPD event delivered by Andrew Pilkington (FA UEFA ‘B’ & ‘C’ Coach Educator as well as FA Mentor) here at the Lancashire FA.

Date: Saturday 24th September 2022

Time: 9am – 12pm

Venue: Lancashire FA, The County Ground, Thurston Road, Leyland, PR25 2LF

Content: Andrew Pilkington (FA UEFA ‘B’ & ‘C’ Coach Educator as well as FA Mentor) will deliver a workshop with the topic being 'THE TECHNICAL CORNER'

You will gain an understanding of:
 
- Consider the core technical components of the game
- Review what happens before, during and after the execution of the techniques of football
- Participate in practical sessions to develop a player’s technical ability
- Q&A session with Andrew

There will be a light practical session for you to take part in, and with this in mind can you please complete this FORM.

The practical will take place on the Lancashire FA 3G pitch so please ensure you are wearing the appropriate footwear when on the pitch (Moulded football boots or trainers) – please could you all share this opportunity around your club coaches and networks.

FA Accredited Hours: 3 Hours

Cost: £10 for all coaches to attend

Absolutely. The FA runs events all over the country and for all levels. To explore events please visit our national CPD events page here.

If you're an FA Level 1 or 2 learner, continuous professional development hours are optional and so there is no longer a requirement for licensing .

If you're a UEFA qualified coach, however, you are required to complete 15 hours of CPD every three years to maintain your licence, which The FA recommends is best achieved by completing 5 hours per season
