If you have any new players, why not add them to the system before the rush in July and August.
All Youth clubs will need an organisation PIN to process your DBS applications BEFORE you can affiliate.

All clubs are required to have the appropriate Public Liability Insurance in place for affiliation.
This insurance provides protection against any claims made by third parties against you e.g. claims for slips and trips or damage to third party property.
For clubs at Steps 5 and below and Tiers 3 and below (Women’s) cover is available as part of your affiliation to Lancashire County FA and, as in previous years, can be purchased through the portal.
Click here to find out more about the liability policy and view a summary of the cover provided.
It can be purchased through Lancashire FA as in previous years through the portal.
If your club already has the appropriate Public Liability Insurance in place you can upload a copy of the certificate of insurance through the portal.
It is now mandatory for ALL teams to have the appropriate Personal Accident Insurance in place within the club.
This insurance provides protection for someone who is injured in an accident whilst participating in a club activity. This policy could provide either a lump sum benefit or weekly amount (dependent on the cover selected).
As stipulated by The FA, personal accident insurance is compulsory for Adult 11-a-side teams and all formats of youth football. Lancashire FA supports the National Game Insurance Scheme (NGIS) which is delivered by Bluefin Sport.
*Change of minimum requirement for adult team football*
Please note that the minimum adult team entry level of cover required for Adult affiliation to Lancashire FA for the 2019/20 season has now increased to the NGIS ‘Intermediate’ policy or equivalent. Youth teams remain at the NGIS ‘Basic' policy or equivalent.
The NGIS can provide a range of levels of cover to choose from.
Click here for more information and to purchase cover online.
If you already have insurance via Bluefin Sport, you will receive a renewal notice by email or post.
Once personal accident cover has been purchased you will be required to upload evidence of the insurance in place through the portal (or if purchasing online through the NGIS, Lancashire FA will receive instant notification).
With effect from the 2017/18 season, The FA have introduced a minimum mandatory requirement for personal accident insurance for all age groups and formats of youth football.
This requirement will be covered by Rule 22 in the Standard Code of Rules Youth.
The National Game Board also gave their approval for the FA to set the minimum levels of benefit cover which are mandatory and to highlight other levels of cover.
The mandatory levels of cover must form part of the personal accident cover purchased by clubs as part of the affiliation process.
In 2012, the Football Association carried out a review of insurance across grassroots football which highlighted a lack of guidelines, and prompted the introduction of minimum standards across all Counties.
The National Game Insurance Scheme (NGIS) has been designed to address this by raising the standard of insurance covers available and to provide more affordable solutions to grassroots football.
Personal accident insurance for Adult 11 a side football has been mandatory for a number of years now and has proven to be extremely beneficial in providing protection and financial support to players at grassroots level.
The NGIS has paid in excess of £1.5m in claims since its inception in July 2012.
Bluefin Sport are a national provider of insurance and risk management solutions to the world of sport.
They are currently one of the leading providers of football insurance in the UK, with clients ranging from grassroots through to the EFL and the Premier League.
That is fine, you can simply upload your insurance documents via the portal.
Please note: until you do this your affiliation will not be approved.
It is now mandatory for the following committee members of clubs with youth teams to complete an online safeguarding course:
- Welfare Officer
The course is free to complete.
Affiliation cannot be approved until all mandatory members have completed the course.
Those who completed this last summer are accredited for three years.
However, it is mandatory for ALL treasurers this year, hence this will be an action for most clubs.
Lancashire FA will be on hand to offer you any help with any issues that you may have with the Whole Game System.
