If you're a nostalgic Manchester City supporter, a local football fan or you simply fancy enjoying a great day out to help raise money for a good cause, come along to the County Ground this Saturday!

Manchester City Legends take on Progress United in a charity match at the weekend.

Progress United will be made up of staff from Progress Housing Group, a social housing provider based in Leyland, and managed by former City player Asa Hartford.

Profits from the match will go towards housing and homelessness charity Shelter.

The Manchester City Legends line-up will include Peter Barnes, Paul Dickov, Uwe Rosler, Michael Brown and Jeff Whitley.

Tickets will now be available to buy on the day at the same price.

Gates open at 12pm, and there will be opportunities to take photos with the Man City Legends players for supporters who arrive early.

The Premier League Trophy and the Carabao Cup will also be at the County Ground!

They will be on display from 12.30pm until 3pm in the Sir Tom Finney Suite, so that supporters heading to the bar before the match and at half time can get a glimpse of the silverware won by City's current successful side.
