LFA announce Vets League and Womens Summer League

We want you to get involved

Two fantastic competitions are set to take place this summer, and we are looking for even more competitors to take part.

The Vets Champions Cup, which will take place at the LFA Headquarters, the County Ground in Leyland, will start in early June. Taking place every Tuesday and Wednesday evening,  we're looking for new and existing vets teams to come and take part. If you're 35-years-of-age or over and want to play but don't yet have a team, let us know and we can put you in touch with a team that is local to you.

The Women's Summer League will also be kicking off in June, taking place every Monday night 6pm-8pm, starting on the 11th of the month. The format of the league will be flexible, 7v7 or 9v9 games are permitted. We're looking for emerging or developing sides who are looking to gain football experience over the summer, whilst mum's groups are also welcome. The league will be refereed by qualified officials, and results/fixtures will be completed by the Lancashire FA.

For more information on either league or to register your interest, please contact Iain Mackie or Mike Nadal on 01772 624000. Alternatively, email iain.mackie@lancashirefa.com or Michael.nadal@lancashirefa.com
