Lancashire FA County Cup Finals Update

The rescheduled LFA County Cup Finals will take place this month.

Lancashire FA will be staging three County Cup Finals on the 17 – 19 May. The original matches were scheduled to take place last year, but have been delayed due to the pandemic.

The new dates coincide with the UK government’s easing of restrictions, which will permit spectators into games from 17 May 2021.

All matches will be played at our County Ground facility which is a COVID secure venue. We will be implementing a regular cleaning schedule throughout each match and social distancing measures will be in place to help ensure the safety of spectators at all matches.

Lancashire FA is permitted to allow a maximum of 1200 fans into each match, and we would like to welcome all football fans in the area to come down and enjoy some live action.

Tickets are only available to buy on the gate, so get down early to avoid disappointment. Prices are as follows:

Adult : £6.00
Concession £3.00 (Under 18 or over 65’s)

There will also be a range of refreshments available to all attendees, which includes home-made pies, hot dogs, burgers, snacks and range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Both the 1878 Café and Corner Flag kiosk will be open from 6pm.

Prices for the draught lager & cider will be:

Per Pint: £3.00
Special 2-pint container: £5.00 (which works out at only £2.50 per pint)

Before entering the County Ground, all spectators will need to check in to the NHS track and trace app using the QR code, and will also be required to have their temperature taken. Masks will also be required in certain parts of the ground, which will be clearly signposted on the day.

Any spectators who choose to sit in the main stand, must sit in designated seating to help enforce social distancing.

For anyone travelling by car, there is free parking available on site and also the adjacent King Street car park is free of charge after 6pm
