Lancashire FA County Womens League

Our County Women’s League will have a full programme of fixtures in the weekend prior 6th March

Lancashire FA is celebrating International Womens day which in 2022 is on Tuesday 8th March.

As part of that there will be a series of events across that week in Lancashire and across the country showcasing Female Football both on and off the field and as individuals and organisations can get involved with both short and long term.

Lancashire FA County Women’s League will have a full programme of fixtures in the weekend prior (6th March) and post (13th March) International Women’s Day which will include over 30 Female Open age teams across 3 divisions in the County. Matches take place across the County on Sundays at 2pm.

You can view those fixtures here and find your nearest club across the female pyramid here to get involved as a player or volunteer here via your postcode.

For more information you can contact Michael Nadal on michael.nadal@lancashirefa.com.

Lancashire FA also has over 100 clubs running teams at across all age groups from U7’s to U18’s across the female game along with the FA Female Recreational Programme Weetabix Wildcats (5-11 years)  delivered by volunteers so there are many ways to get involved and you can search for your nearest club or Weetabix Wildcat Centre here and more information on our youth female provision here.

However you are involved in Female sport across the county we want to thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for Women and Girls across the game. We look forward to supporting you into the future whether you are playing, volunteering or spectating and once again thank you for simply being inspiring role models for females across the football world.
