Your chance to inspire the next generation!

The Lionesses brought it home... Now can you create a home for our next generation? Apply now!

As the county and the country revel in the glory of being European champions, the opportunity for our clubs and partner organisations to create the first home of our next generation of players and coaches is live, but not for long! Deliver Wildcats for our 5-11 year olds and Squad Girls for our 12-14 year olds and give the competition the legacy it deserves...

Lancashire FA introductory programmes Weetabix Wildcats and Squad Girls are open for applications and we are looking for England Football Accredited clubs and other partner organisations to join in delivering these opportunities within their local communities.

Weetabix Wildcats covers ages 5-11 and Squad Girls 12-14 and both are crucial in developing opportunities for girls to make friends, have FUN, keep fit and participate in the game we all love.

You can find all the details on how to apply for each programme below and you can join the 60 current Weetabix Wildcats Centres and 13 Squad Girls Centre’s in Lancashire and inspire the next Keira Walsh, Georgia Stanway, Ella Toone or Sarina Wiegman.

Squad Girls

GirlsSquad Girls Football Centres are back and looking for NEW applications throughout this year's UEFA Women’s Euros, leaving a legacy across the game way after the trophy is won and leaving the next generation of females inspired to get involved in the beautiful game.

The aim for this exciting programme is to provide girls between the ages of 12-14 a fun, relevant and engaging recreational offer that allows them to develop themselves as much as their football skills in a safe, inclusive environment.

The programme has been specifically designed to give autonomy, choice and voice to the girls who are involved in the sessions. By adopting this approach, young people will have the freedom to develop their social identity, become a valued member of a team and build their self-confidence through engaging in fun and flexible football activity.

We hope that participation in this programme will support young girls to cultivate a positive connection to physical activity and football, developing healthy habits for their futures and developing themselves as competent and confident young leaders and contributors to wider society.

Football has the power to change lives for the better and here is how you can get involved and find out more details of what the programme is all about.
