An Exciting Opportunity to Join Lancashire FA to Support Inclusive Football Across the County.

As part of Lancashire Football Association’s drive and commitment to improve participation for all our football family, we are seeking a dedicated, highly motivated and inspiring team member to join the Football Delivery Team and focus on community engagement and inclusion in football. 

This role’s primary objective will be to ensure football is accessible and welcoming for all, regardless of background or ability, and the role will particularly support our community members who have either perceived or physical barriers that have made it more challenging to fully engage with the game and reap the benefits and opportunities that football brings.

The ideal candidate will be resourceful, creative and determined, with a clear passion to improve and support communities across Lancashire. They will have the skills and abilities to work in partnership with charities, community groups and organisations to foster collaborative solutions that tackle societal concerns in Lancashire. Having a knowledge and appreciation for under-represented communities in sport generally and football in particular, combined with the interpersonal and influencing skills to make effective contributions for positive change, are all essential for this role.

This is a full time, contracted role, working 35 hours a week, typically Monday to Friday but also with some evening & weekend commitments. Although the contract is until 30th June 2024, it has the potential for extension subject to securing additional funding. The role is based at Lancashire FA, however, you will be expected to be visible, building up a presence in our communities. There will also be opportunities to work remotely and flexibly. 

This has a salary band of £23k-£31k, dependent on experience. You can see the full recruitment pack, including the job description HERE.
