Every Coach Counts

Join our brand-new coach development programme for those from historically underrepresented communities

Lancashire FA is launching a brand-new coach development programme for those from historically underrepresented communities.

Regardless of whether you’ve just dipped your toe into coaching this season, are still watching your kids from the side-line but want to try it out or have achieved all your coaching badges - Every Coach Counts is for you.

Every Coach Counts launches on 23rd October 2023 at the County Ground in Leyland with an event featuring guest speakers including Sagwati Malabi, Female Football Development Coordinator at PNE Community Education Trust and Academy Coach at PNE Academy, as well as coach Mo Huffi, from Bolton Wanderers Academy. We’ll also be joined by former Preston North End player turned coach Chris Humphrey.

The free of charge programme will also include four face to face workshops and two online workshops, as well as on and off pitch coaching support, info about funding and other opportunities and support from mentors.

However, Every Coach Counts won’t follow a strict curriculum, it will be co-created by attendees during the launch event and therefore will be made relevant to what you want to get out of the programme.
