Five New Clubs Join the Under 21 League

Clubs from across the region have elected to join the increasingly popular league

Lancashire FA are delighted to annouce five more clubs have joined the increasingly popular Under 21 League.

Clitheroe FC, Mossley AFC, Lostock St Gerards, Bamber Bridge FC and Barrow AFC have all joined the league, which starts in September.

Lancashire FA's 11v11 Football Development Officer, Iain Mackie said: "These prestigious clubs joining demonstrates the need for this league, bridging the gap between youth and adult football."

"It provides quality opportunities for young people who are looking to make the step from youth to adult football."

"Keeping young people playing football at this age is one of our key priorities.”
